Hans Cabooter – president of the Cabooter Group, has been nominated for the title “Entrepeneur of the Year 2019! The Venlo-based family business, specialized in logistics and real estate, is working hard on the (rail) road. It breathed new life into a rail terminal in Kaldenkerken, Germany, which has been vacant for years and is currently realizing the largest domestic rail terminal at Trade Port Noord business park in Venlo. With the arrival of this terminal, around half a million trucks will disappear from the road every year. Also sustainable: in recent years the company has installed 1 hectare of solar collectors on its existing buildings.
